Loving our Lifestyle in Carpinteria--Santa Barbara County

If you follow our posts, you no doubt have seen that we refer to our lifestyle as a Goldilocks existence.  It is just right for us in every conceivable way.  We live in one of the smallest villages in the county.  Carpinteria (population 14-16,000) is known for its blooming flower business, marijuana greenhouses, avocado ranches (Avocado Capital), and its seal rookery (pictured above).  It is also known for its fierce anti development stand on the coastal areas.  The land  conservation is continuously buying coastal  land to preserve the natural look and feel of the town.
According to our Chamber of Commerce we have the world's safest beach pictured above.  This photo was taken yesterday afternoon.
Our tide pools are spectacular.  We refer to it as the ocean's open house, because during the winter the tides are very low below sea level.  Pictured above are anemones, they look like precious jewels!
Our public schools are highly rated, and we have a well known private school, the Cate school, which caters to both day students and private students.  One of our Northern California clients had her son studying at the Cate school.
