Don't feel like going to the store? Home made Hummus...
Yes we are all concerned about going to the Grocery Store. So  Ed Silva  commented on one of my posts, this in turn inspired this creation. A quick appetizer, munchies before dinner. How about some Home made Hummus?
Lucky for us I had all the ingredients:
1 can of (15-16 oz) can of chickpease aka garbanzo beans
1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice (picked from my back yard)
1/4 cup of tanhin paste well stirred ( if you do not have it real easy to make just ask me)
1 small clove of garlice minced
2 table spoon of Olive Oil
1/2 half a tespoon of ground cumin
Salt to taste ( I do not use it)
2-3 table  spoon of water
Smoked paprika for serving
Take youw food processor combine the tahini and lemon suice and prcesss for about a inute or more. Then scrape the sides and botom of the bowl. process for anothe 30 seconds or more. This will make the Tahini very creamy and in turm make the humus smooth and creamy as well.
Add the olive oil and minced garlic and cumin and little more lemon juice to tasete process for another minute or so.
Drain the Garbanzo Beans and rinse off in cold water, add to the food processor. ... more
