Can we support each other whilst social distancing?
I think we should change the name of social distancing to physical distancing. Many local kids are mixing as if nothing is happening, whilst every one is locked away. This whole social distancing idea whilst good has left many anxious, afraid and frankly missing any social contact.
 
 
This past week I printed up some notes for my neighbors in my apartment development. I invited them to gather Saturday evening at the end of our cul de sac, with a chair and a glass of their favourite beverage.
Whilst it is a large development, I chose two buildings knowing that some would not come and others might be away visiting family. This allowed us to set our chairs a good distance from each other whilst still be able to see and hear each other.
Firstly, everyone wanted to know whose idea it was as they so appreciated getting out and seeing everyone.
