Adopt a Bend OR Restaurant - This Week Miyagi Ramen
This is not really a complaint but just an expression of my current state of mind at 10:30 on Sunday morning!  I am tired of cooking dinner every night.  I like cooking new recipes and trying new cuisines - it is sort of a magic carpet ride on a tasting spoon! Unfortunately the things in my pantry are not really geared for experimental evenings - my pantry, shelves and freezer are not set up for new recipes.  I have the ingredients for the tried and true in my kitchen.  I really have appreciated Will Hamm, Roy Kelley and Richard Weeks for their recipe postings - particularly because most of the ingredients are al ready in my house!  THANKS GUYS!!!!
The other approach to the dinner dilemma is to order in your meal.  This has two great benefits.  You avoid the dinner doldrums and.... more importantly.... you are supporting a local business!  Those local restaurants are really suffering right now and so you are accomplishing two goals at once - a change of taste and supporting your local businesses.
I read a post however from a local restaurant owner recently, urging us all to delete the food delivery apps from our phones.  Services ... more
