Moving – How to Pack
Finding a new home can be exciting.  Leaving your old home is not always fun due to the work that must be done before leaving.  Following are some tips that may help simplify the process:
Get rid of stuff – First, need to identify items that you do not use.  If you pack these items, you are wasting time and money.  Recommend starting in the closet and then go room by room to get rid of your junk.  A good rule of thumb, if you have not use it in the past 12 months get rid of it.  After you have identified these items, either sell or donate the items to charity.  After getting rid of your stuff, give the house a good cleaning.  This way you will be unpacking dust-free items once you reach you new destination.
Boxes and paper – Need to figure-out how many types, and sizes of boxes you will need to pack your belongings.  This means taking an inventory of items you plan to move and determining the types of boxes needed.  When it comes to breakable items be sure not to overpack and use plenty of packing paper and bubble wrap.  When shopping for supplies, get ... more
