A day in the life of a broker- in the busy times
In 2008 there was a LOT of inventory on the market.  I went and looked back at an old market report and there was 24 months of inventory in July of 2008.  Buyers had all kinds of choices, prices were dropping, rates were dropping and sellers were short selling left and right. Me?  I was learning about building my own website and started to blog here on ActiveRain.  Something I'd not done before 2008. 
Real estate was pretty slow, so there was lots of time spent at my computer weekly.  And through blogging here on ActiveRain I learned to much... about SEO, shortsales, evergreen posts and even found friends who helped me on various issues eventually having a word press blog and I made lots of new friends that I truly treasure.
Fast forward to this week where I get to work early and I get home at dark thirty and it's been that way for a while.  I showed a home this week 2 hours after it hit the MLS and my buyers made an offer only to be beat out by another offer, and their offer was a VERY strong offer accompanied by a pre-approval letter.
