Can't Complain About the Weather...
...but sometimes we still do. As of today, in our fabulous city of Phoenix, we set a new record for number of days of temperatures over 110 degrees. Sure we break records all the time for weather related issues, but this time the record was shattered. The previous record was 33 days, we are currently at 50 days counting. So far 2020 hasn't let us down on record shattering events.Yes, it's hotter than I can ever remember but I'll take the heat over the cold any day. We have air conditioners and pools to keep us cool during these hot months. And the amount of time with intense heat is far less than the months I spent in Detroit waiting for the ground to unthaw.I've lived in several states and have visited so many others, and I have to say, I really love living in Arizona. It may have a reputation for being hot but isn't it hot everywhere in the summer? It's like this, 3 months of hot weather, 9 months of beautiful outdoor living. Of course there are challenging decisions I face every now and then. Decisions like, whether I enjoy the stunning sunrises or the gorgeous sunsets more. Which ... more
