There are quite a few equestrian friendly neighborhoods in the greater Austin area, and there are other properties that may not be located in a horse community, but are well suited for horses. Obviously, the most important factor to consider when looking for an equestrian property is if the deed restrictions permit horses. Land - you will want to make sure you have enough land for the horse(s) to live, and you will also want to make sure the land is suitable for horses.
