Cursive - Print - Penmanship... What's Next?
Is this a change, or what? A few people have said they quit teaching cursive in schools. Shouldn’t it be called penmanship? It was when I went to school. The next change I assume when signing all documents where it says signature, they will remove the word signature, and just have printed. Huh? Let’s take for instance buying a home, (just for one example) you have 37 documents the lender wants to be SIGNED, they want YOUR SIGNATURE, not someone else’s, even your spouse CAN’T sign for you. Will that be ok with the mortgage company and banks? Will there be no need to sign the purchase agreement, SPDS, addendums, final walkthrough, HOA, or the document when you place your real estate license with a broker? What about Washington D.C. no more signing of documents there? Now it seems your printing and my printing would be different looking but… What change is next? Is there no longer a need for notaries? ... more
