Revisiting One of My First Blog Posts from 2008 About Resolutions
Did you know that the New Year was first celebrated in Babylon over 4000 years ago? The Babylonians celebrated the New Year in the spring for 11 days and they even had new year's resolutions. A favorite resolution is rumored to be the return of borrowed farm equipment.
I am pondering my new year's resolutions, and tops on the list on the personal side are to spend more quality time with my daughter and to enjoy cooking more - maybe even with her. On a professional side, I want to manage my time better. Maybe a schedule really is the way to go!

After I read that Wanda Kubat-Nerdin - Wanda Can! has been in the rain for 12 years, I decided to check when I first started participating in Active Rain.  I think I joined in December 2008 - certainly that is when I started blogging.   I wrote the words above as my fifth blog post and was delighted that a few people commented.  I was really excited to have anyone read what I had written.  And I still am excited when anyone comments.
