A crazy thing happened during the Holiday Season. I mailed a card to Kat Palmiotti but upon receipt, she received an empty envelope from me with a "We Care" note from the US Post Office with a message: "I want to extend my sincere apology as your Postmaster for the enclosed document that was inadvertently damaged in handling by your Postal Service..."
 
WOW! Kat received an empty, opened, stamped envelope from me addressed to her without my card/letter AND an apology from the government! Somewhere in between TX and Flower Mound the card got lost. As soon as she let me know, I mailed her another one. 
 
On Monday morning, Kat called to tell me she received my new card and we had a very nice conversation. Kat is a lot like Zig Ziglar: always kind and thoughtful - truly a great friend!
