One Simple Thing Changed My Whole Outlook
Yesterday, something in my spirit snapped.  A combination of overworked and overloaded with worry for my clients had set the stage.  My mother, who I haven't seen since Christmas, was having a horrible day as well and needed a lot more time and reassurance than I could give.  My phone was ringing off the hook about a listing that, for some reason, was still not ratified by the formerly eager buyer.  Turned out he had buyer's remorse.  I knew it was coming, but it was confirmed this morning.  And there were three other clients in various stages of deals that needed some problem solving.  I was at the end of my rope.
As you may already know from reading my posts, I have a furry feline family of four.  The tiniest of them, pictured above, had been diagnosed with cancer and inflammatory bowel disease in September.  It was a grim diagnosis and we knew she had to be very ill since she'd lost so much weight.  Our hope was to keep her comfortable for as long as she would be around.  Six months seemed to be on the hopeful side, but then she started to respond ... more
