Today happens to be National Escape Day. I have no idea of its origins but I have a feeling that many of us are nodding their heads YES ...you’re ready for an escape.

Some of you haven’t been able to leave your homes or to dine in your favorite restaurant.  Others are ready to escape to one of their favorite cities around the globe. And most of us are ready to escape and spend time with family and friends.

Escaping doesn’t mean that you physically have to go somewhere though. Books and movies have afforded us ways to leave our real lives for years.

You can call a local restaurant, pick up your favorite meal and make a special night of it. Have a picnic lunch or dinner (unless it’s snowing or raining where you are!)
