This post is in response to the clickbait article that Rocky found dismay in and which lead to a wonderful AR challenge this month. I read the article and while I am offended by it, I am not offended that someone wrote this stuff since I have seen agents that unfortunately do these things. I am greatly offended by the agents that do these things and give the industry such a bad name. It is my belief that any agent that is found to be doing any of these things should be at a minimum reprimanded, perhaps even fined and if they continue to do them, they should have their license revoked. There should be a standard that is upheld and our associations, including NAR, should be doing that instead of participating in their own agendas, political or otherwise.
 
Now, to the positive stuff!!! Most agents will NEVER do anything that is discussed in the article, so consumers should be working with those agents and not the few bad seeds that are spoken about in the article. Consumers ... more
