Gospel singing stars Vanessa bell Armstrong and Tye Tribett will perform free concerts during the JoyFest celebration, happening through Sunday on the Kresge green space on Market Avenue N. between 3rd & 4Th St. The Heart of downtown Canton  Armstrong will appear at 8p.m. today, and Tribett at 8p.m. Saturday.  Event hours are 11a.m. to 9:45p.m. daily.  The festival includes a ribs burnoff, food concessions and cooking competitons. With live entertainment, rides, inflatables, arts and crafts, parade, civil war encampment.  Food and fireworks, 5 tonight and 11a.m. Saturday, downtown Canal Fulton.
St Helena canal boat Cruises: 1, 2 and 3p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays, Canal Fulton Canalway Center. 
 
Upcoming Events:
Midday Music:  The Dan Kenyon Band, a contemporary Christian act, will perform a free lunchtime concert at noon Wednesday on the patio at the Cultural center for the Arts at 1001 Market Ave N.  people may bring their lunch or purchase one onsite from Chick-fil-A.  The show, presented by Arts in Stark, will go on rain or shine.
