The Missouri Housing Development Commission has announced that a new Bond issue will be availalbe and reservations for this will begin next week. This program allows for the state of Missouri to provide 3% of the loan amount to go toward down payment and or closing costs and prepaids.  This is very good news for veterans and active duty personnel who are looking to buy a home and qualify for a VA financing.  By combining the MHDC Bond Loan with VA financing the 3% funds given to the buyer from the state of Missouri pays for the closing costs and prepaids while the VA loan provides for 100% financing.  This is a fantastic opportunity for any Veteran that would be interested in buying their first home in the state of Missouri.
