Enjoy Delaware County!  As the summer blends into fall, there's nowhere better to be than in the heart of the Catskills. Now, as fall sets in, get ready for the mid-September to October fall spectacular! Drive the Catskills for the breathtaking beauty of the fall foliage! Join the Sanctuary Open House at the Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society on October 4th in Franklin. Hawk-watching is underway and several bald eagles have been spotted in the area. Stop by the many farmers markets for organic produce, crafts, hand-made pottery and furniture.
Looking for recreational activities?  Belleayre Mountain in Highmount has beachfronts, camping, boating, biking trails, skyrides and a well known ski resort.  Ski Plattekill, another well known ski resort, has over 6 miles of mountain biking trails and hosts USA Cycling mountain bike races and camps as well as skiing, snowboarding and tubing.
