Do you feel betrayed by ActiveRain?
Does sponsorship on Localism or something else about the NEW Localism make you feel "betrayed?"
Steve Homer left a comment on one of my posts on DiscoverColumbusOH.com (my OUTSIDE ActiveRain blog):
"I, like many other AR members felt a bit betrayed by the new sponsoring system and I still feel that way.  I have sponsored nothing, but continue to be an active localism poster which keeps me a good neighbor for the time being -"
You don't have to sponsor a community to participate on Localism. You can post good quality content and that is going to give you the presence.
I know Lenn Harley and Melina Tomson sponsored communities and then canceled the sponsorships.  I know some of us... I hate to say "feel betrayed" that the sponsorships were sold for an edited Localism site and then plans changed.
I sponsored four communities on the NEW Localism and they threw in the city of Columbus because with only two Columbus neighborhoods... I was the biggest sponsor in Ohio's biggest city.  I posted my community profile for Columbus yesterday.  I then re posted the content to my OUTSIDE ActiveRain blog DiscoverColumbusOH.com that's what Steve and other ActiveRain members commented on.
