Monday Morning Blahs & Happy Places
I'm sure many of you can relate to the Monday morning "blah's".  Even the most optimistic person can experience the blahs now and again.  Here's how my Monday morning blahs turned into a great day!
I was sitting in front of the fireplace having my morning coffee scanning the television for something that wasn't dreadful to entertain myself, and generally feeling blue all over. I have experienced this enough to know that the solution is to get up, get dressed, and get out of the house. So I did. I prepared a short errand list and headed out, having no intentions of really "working" on anything.
My first stop was an optical boutique directly across the street from my office. I need a new pair of prescription glasses and they had a huge sale sign in the yard. When I walked in, I was totally unprepared for what awaited me.  I was stunned that such a place existed almost under my very nose and yet hidden from me.
