$245 or $199; which would you buy?

Two gas stations in Kansas City, MO, right on the edge of Prairie Village, KS. One had gas advertisied for 245/gal, the other station had gas advertised for 199/gal. In less than 10 minutes, I saw over 30 cars pull into the 199 station for gas. Guess how many went to the station with 245 gas?
THis is such an excellent example of houses on the same street. If you have a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home and the guy down the street has a similar floor plan, similar landscaping, and 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, the buyers are going to look at both houses and decide which one they want to buy. One is red; one is green. So, a $10,000 paint job to change the color. Maybe less, but that's how the buyer will figure it.
Whatever differences there are between the two houses, they better add up to $45,000 or the buyers aren't going to buy it.
