Save Energy or Breathe, What a choice?
This past holloween nothing frightened me more then the sight of the oil truck pulling into my driveway. As I sat there contemplating putting another layer of tyvec house wrap around the "exterior" of my home it occurred to me how many open window "Fresh Air" minded type people must hate this time of year (especially with oil at $4 a gallon). It was only about a year ago when I added Broan's Energy Recovery Ventilator to our list of services. Its the only way to bring fresh air into the home and expel stale air while still recovering some of the energy, be it heat or cold. Nothing will recover 100 percent of the energy but it sure beats cracking the windows. No drafts in the winter and no bugs in the summer.
