ENERGY CONSERVATION TIPS ~ SAVE MONEY ~ STAY WARM
Energy costs continue to rise.  By using natural gas delivered directly to your home, instead of converting it to electricity, you will conserve over three times as much of the original natural energy.  Natural gas provides nearly 40% of all energy consumed by residential and commercial customers in the U.S.  Yet, the natural gas consumed by 70 million homes & businesses accounts for less than 6% of total U.S. greenhouse gas emissions.
There are other ways you can reduce your energy bills as well as use natural gas:
 Keep the lights off in unoccupied rooms.
Lower your thermostat in the winter by 10% for 8hrs. to save 10% off your heating bill.
Turn off bathroom and kitchen ventilating fans when your are done.  If left on for 1 hour, they can suck all the heat out of the house.
Use the cold setting on your dishwasher or washing machine if possible and only run with a full load.  Clean the clothes dryer's lint filter after every load.
Make sure your heat register is not blocked by any furniture.  Move furniture away from cold exterior walls & windows to feel warmer.
