Betts - Longworth Historic District
The Betts - Longworth Historic District can be found just northwest of Downtown Cincinnati. The district is a ten-block area or sub area of Cincinnati's West End. You can see many architectural examples such as Italianate, Federal and Queen Anne styles within the neighborhood.
At 416 Clark Avenue you'll find the Betts House. The house was constructed in 1804 and is the oldest surviving brick house in Ohio. Today, the house is owned by the Colonial Dames of America and is operated as a museum dedicated to the study of building materials and traditions.
You can visit the museum during their walk-in hours Tuesday - Thursday from 11am to 2pm. The cost of admission is only $2.00!
