A tale of 3 HUD homes.

So I am sure you all have heard about the amazing deals HUD is offering on their homes.  $100 down payment, HUD pays closing costs, $1000 buyer incentive... the list goes on.  
 
Helping my buyers get the best deals in town I went on a HUD tour today and drove around looking at HUD homes.  3 of the homes were in an area of about 2 square miles.  Here is what I found. 
 
House #1~ Gorgeous and stunning, it was located in a darling subdivision and probably the cutest house on the street.  Built just a few years ago it had an amazing little balcony area looking over the neighborhood as well as mountain views.  Perfect for entertaining or hanging on while watching your children play with the neighbors.  The private backyard was huge and ready for a pool, trampoline and a swing set!  The home was just about move in ready, with just a few little cosmetic items needed.  It is yours for under 150K and only $100 down payment.  
 
House #2~ Also had a big yard, but that is about where the similarities end.  The house was trashed!  YUCK, no wait double YUCK!! ... more
