  Having seen a rise is taxes on Emerald Isle and surrounding Vacation Rental area's home owners are not happy with the rise. But your tax dollars are at work for you and with the building of a new pier insight and one of the biggest boat launching ramps in area coming to Emerald Isle this all will attract many vacationers and fisherman from all parts of the country and the world. Many Vacation rental company's have seen a big drop in reservations and early bookings, people are not going to do that these days like they use to because of the economy.
