January is moving along, so is 2009, and yet 2008 is still a daily reminder
The other day I did a blog about it being Groundhog day on February 2nd. I was thinking at the time of writing that post that Spring was right around the corner,and it was a bout to be warmer weather. I really did not have to endure to coldness this year and was on my way to Utopia. As fate had it I would have to commit to doing what I had to do. Last year saw its share of challenges for all; the young, the old, the unfortunate, the struggling, the sick, and the list goes on. When I think of that ground hog I think that it brings promise to me again. My son and I laugh about the littlest things, and as a parent he actually will have a tendency to disagree with me often. That's okay with me; he has had to grow up pretty fast in the last half a year and more, had enough challenges for a young man, and yet he possesses this wonderful attitude. He and I were talking and reminiscing about people, friends, loved ones, and more recently. It was my son that pointed out that there is a lot to be learned ... more
