Matt and Meridith dropping pearls...
Getting ready for work this morning, running around in one sock as Jazzy my dog is suspiciously hiding, I was listening to Matt Laurer and Meridith Viero on The Today show. They were playing the tape of the transmission between pilot of flight 1549 ,"Sully" Sullenberger, and the air traffic controller as the fate of the aircraft was played out in the Hudson River. Calm, cool, collected on both ends. Listening to the two way conversation made you extremely tense even though you know how it is going to turn out. Amazing feat!
Speaking of feet, where is my sock???
Getting back to my story... when the tape was finished playing, Meridith commented how brave and so very calm both men were. Matt agreed and said, "They are all trained that once you panic, then you're done." That soooo correlates to our market. Panic is the beginning of the end. Calm, cool, collected. That will get us through. We have to give the "keys" back to the powers that be (no not wall street). It is what it is and it will come back around but panicking will not make it happen and will only hinder your progress. Dealing ... more
