Don't get in the way of Success!
We've been in Corporate Management for over 30 years and have seen a number of excellent people fail because they got in the way of their success.  In almost every case it was a matter of Attitude.  By that I mean their mindset is such that they can't see opportunities coming their way, or even worse, they get out of the way and let them pass by.
The Real Estate Business is equally challenging.  In our business we are independent contractors and in most cases stand alone exposed to challenges that can make or break our business every day.  Many have no one to turn to for reinforcement and to keep on track.  Many don't see how dramatically our business has changed and continue to rely on practices of years past.
Unless you welcome change, maintain a positive attitude and focus on things that work the likelihood of being in this business another year is very slim.  If you don't have the support you need, perhaps you should consider changing companies and surrounding yourself with positive, successful people and learn to embrace success!
