The Charlotte Real Estate Market for January 2014 according to the Charlotte Regional Realtors Association had a really good start for a new year! It’s a great indicator of a stabilizing and healthy market.
New listings increased 2.3% to 4,027 Pending sales were up 6.2% to 2,778 Inventory levels shrank to 6% Absorption rate supply down 17.4% to 4.7 month supply

The dream of home ownership based on volume in August 2013 for Charlotte, NC was very much intact, it certainly outweighed the higher interest rates for now.

There were 1,576 total units that closed in all of Mecklenburg County; closings were up by 18.1%.

All signals currently point to a progressive stabilization in the housing market and the positive trend in home price appreciation.

Mental Health Day? I don’t know if you have ever require a mental health day, but I sure do. Every now and then I have to stop, drop and take a day off; I actually decided to take three. It was not necessary for me to plan an elaborate vacation; all I needed was a place to go that would provide me with an outlet to recharge for a minute, a place of solitude and tranquility.
