The Charlotte Real Estate Market for January 2014 according to the Charlotte Regional Realtors Association had a really good start for a new year! It’s a great indicator of a stabilizing and healthy market.
 
New listings increased 2.3% to 4,027
Pending sales were up 6.2% to 2,778
Inventory levels shrank to 6%
Absorption rate supply down 17.4% to 4.7 month supply
 
What is recognized is we have fewer foreclosures, more new construction and increased seller activity.

The dream of home ownership based on volume in August 2013 for Charlotte, NC was very much intact, it certainly outweighed the higher interest rates for now.
