Tequesta is a village in Palm Beach County, Florida, with a population of almost 6,000. The village was incorporated in 1957 and named after the ancient Tequesta Indians because developer Charles Martin discovered an Indian burial mound during construction. Rich in history, this area has grown into a wonderful small community that encourages outdoor activities throughout its parks, sports activities, and residential areas along the waterways.
