A tip for REALTORS who moonlight as their own personal graphic designer - choose your fonts wisely! My advice to you is to keep it simple and legible - and for the younger REALTORS out there, please keep in mind that not everyone has perfect 20/20 vision - I hear time and time again that some clients steer away from certain websites because 1) the font is too small 2) It's way too busy. A simple legible font can help this! My advice is to keep it simple and clean. Legibility first - style second. Try to exclude overuse of anything (9 comments)

Now - this one just makes sense.. Email newsletters - a fantastic way to reach your clients in my opinion. It's easy, inexpensive and creates a marvelous tool to stay in touch. My fave? Constant Contact. What makes it so great? First of all - it's professional (as long as it's done right!). True - there ARE free programs you can use - most popular is MailChimp - but they don't offer as many innovative features - I find the name of it to be so cheap and cheesy. It drives me bananas!! Hi Folks, I have a bit of help to pass along the way for all of you wanting to get into the spirit of blogging for 2011... I just heard about the WordPress Challenge. For those of you who don't know, WordPress is website that allows content management (meaning you can create and edit websites here) - many bloggers use the WordPress platform for their websites. (Apparently 13% of the 1,000,000 biggest websites are made from WordPress *please note - I read that stat on Wikipedia..... I wouldn't bet your life on it.. but maybe your husband..) KIDDING!! First of all, Happy New Year Rainers! I'm excited - are you? As we start this new decade (AWESOME!) - I thought I'd sort of sum up what we, Virtual Assistants, actually do and how we provide an invaluable service. So far - most every REALTOR who has contacted me has been at their wits end. They're frustrated.
