I'm seeing situations starting to pop up again in a lot of blogs around the internet.
Buyer calls an agent and asks them to show them a home. The agent asks THAT questions: "Are you working with an agent?" More times than not, the buyer responds with one of the following:
1. I am but my agent is on vacation/took the day off.
2. I am but my agent's office is alllllllllll the way across town and you're right next to that house.
3. I am but it's the weekend and I didn't want to bother him/her.

I've been chatting with a friend of mine back east who is in the middle of looking for a new home. Her husband is retiring from the military (25+ years service!) and they are looking for 'the last home they'll ever buy'. They're both from the midwest, so that's where they're retiring to. She's been keeping me up to date with their search, asking my opinion on different houses in a non-real estate type way and so on.

This past weekend, we were out again showing homes to a great family. They don't live in town so when it comes to our home showing, everyone usually comes along. This weekend, their adorable little girls came with us. One is under 10, the other is around 11. We'd been out in the past with the kids and they did just fine in the beginning.
