So Excited about the Opening of Eye of the Camera Exhibit!
Last night I attended the opening reception of the 48th Annual Eye of the Camera exhibit sponsored by the City of Littleton.  This is the first juried show I have participated in and I was honored to have two images accepted. Here are the two images:

aspens: Three Mile Creek Trail one of the best hikes around - 10/02/11 08:18 AM
Three Mile Creek Trail offers one of the best hikes in the foothills west of Denver.  Yesterday, my husband and I, along with our hiker dog Jake, headed up Hwy 285 west of Denver thru Bailey towards Guanella Pass.  The weather was warm and inviting and hundreds of others had the same idea of taking in the beautiful golden vistas of the aspens.
At Grant, we turned right onto the Guanella Scenic and Historic Byway.  The trailhead was just a short 2.5 mile drive and this trail is one of the most popular doggie hikes of the Colorado Mountain Club.  The … (3 comments)

aspens: Fall Colors Paint the Rocky Mountains - 09/24/09 01:30 PM
We are having so much moisture in the foothills (that translates to SNOW) the gorgeous colors of the leaves will quickly disappear.  I was able to capture a few shots of some of the vivid orange and gold aspens. They are so striking against a backdrop of green evergreens.  Hopefully, you have been able to get up to the hills....one of my favorite drives is Golden Gate Canyon to Hwy 119, also known as the Peak to Peak Highway then north towards Nederland.  Lots of color and gorgeous views.
