valentines day: A Visit to Manitou Springs

Last weekend, my husband and I traveled to Colorado Springs to celebrate an early Valentine's Day. We stayed at the historic Cliff House, a lovely Victorian hotel nestled into the mountainside of Manitou Springs. We enjoyed an incredible dinner and got up early on Saturday to walk around town. Armed with my new camera, I took numerous photos inside and out.
Inagine yourself sitting on the veranda, sipping your favorite beverage as you watch people walk by.
Although I could have used a flash, I loved the natural lighting of the room.

valentines day: Happy Valentine's Day!

I know it is a few days early, but because I am going to be traveling for the next days, I wanted to take this opportunity to wish my ActiveRain friends a very Happy Valentine's Day! I am an avid photographer, stamper and sometimes scrapbooker. I turn many of my designs into greeting cards which I share with clients, family and friends. Here is a card I designed to send you all.
