Do you know which is the largest  Public Library in the United States? Well if you guessed that it is the Library of Congress, then you are correct.

Now can you guess which is the second largest  Public Library by Volume? Well those of you who know me, might guess that it is the Los Angeles County Library.  If you guessed that, then you are wrong, the Los Angeles County Public Library is number 25 in the standing of largest Libraries by volume.
If you guessed, that it is the Boston Public Library, then you are correct. I always enjoyed the Boston Public … (14 comments)

boston to los angeles relocation: World Series Game One: Red Sox win 8-4 against the Los Angeles Dodgers - 10/24/18 12:10 AM
If you did not watch this game, it was a Nail Biter for almost the middle of the seventh inning. Needless to say the lead changed quite a lot and I was quite nervous. Gratefully the Red Sox made some great chess moves and the game opened up to and 8-4 lead that they managed to hold on to.
One of our relatives sent me a Double Rainbow Picture an hour before the game. Clearly that was a good omen. On the other hand the Los Angeles person who has lived for 22+ years in the mild climate could not help but notice … (18 comments)

boston to los angeles relocation: A fun encounter at LAX as in Los Angeles International Airport... - 08/16/18 12:18 AM
I dropped Diane off at LAX aka Los Angeles International Airport. She had an unexpected event that necessitated  her fly to Boston. So a 'Red Eye' out tonight and she will be back Saturday afternoon.
Just as I got home I received an email from her.
She just made  friends with a couple who were going to Boston as well, but the highlight of this friendship was that she made friends with Griffin aka Griff. Well check him out you can see why they became friends:))

Yes you guessed it, Griff is a Rescue Dog and he is has a home in Boston and now … (27 comments)

boston to los angeles relocation: TSA and the Giant Lobster.... - 07/19/17 11:59 PM
TSA and the Giant Lobster or should I say TSA's CLAWS Encounter? like the article???
As some of you know last month Diane went back to visit relatives and friends in Boston, MA. I stayed behind due to work and handling our “animal farm” Jack, Jill & Willey and of course Schmoie my assistant.
Those of you, who read my blog posts know the biggest withdrawal I have and what I miss most from living in Boston, MA is the easy and inexpensive access to Maine Lobsters. Not taking into consideration our old friends and Diane’s relatives.
Hence every trip Diane makes has to … (56 comments)

boston to los angeles relocation: My first listing appointment in West Roxbury, MA.... - 10/09/16 05:44 AM
My First Listing Appointment: West Roxbury, MA

This was a long time ago, but it is still fresh in my mind as if it was yesterday. Keep in mind I have been in the Los Angeles Real Estate Market for over 20+ years, prior to relocating to Los Angeles, I was a Realtor in Boston, Massachusetts. When I started out my goal was to practice Real Estate within the city proper. Not having had any experience, I thought it would be great to work for a local and reputable regional company and ‘learn the ropes’ outside of the city.
As it turned out, … (66 comments)

boston to los angeles relocation: Spring in Malden, MA! Pearl Street Lilacs! - 05/18/14 10:55 AM
Spring in Malden, MA! Pearl Street Lilacs! Having lived on the East Coast and Europe the only thing I miss during Spring is the Lilacs. Here in Southern California I have not seen Lilacs since we have lived out here.

So it was a special treat to see the Lilac Bush blooming on this trip to Malden, MA. It bought back memories how much my mother used to enjoy and love the Lilacs! Having relocated to the Greater Los Angeles  17+ years ago this was a special treat for me
