Monday Motivations & / or Observations: Frankenstein Revived... 'Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus' a novel written by the English author Mary Shelly which tells the story of Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist who creates a creature in a scientific experiment.
If you have not read the book the premise is that modern science, stripped from the constrains of ethics and morals and nature will end up creating monsters.

Thank you Debe Maxwell, CRS for the inspiration to write another grateful post, this being my second in the past twelve days. As I reflect, I realize I could write a book not a post; I'm sure I'm not alone in my thinking on this, particularly if we take a minute or two to look around us.

Lately I have been a tad busy, for which I am very grateful for. There is a potential of 6-10 listings coming on the market. Then to booth there is a couple transaction that might actually close...time will tell. Now with that said I am digressing....
I am a bit preoccupied with work so when I made the dinner, I almost forgot to serve one of the ingredients. Now I am sure you will know what was missing and got a laugh out of it. (yes the green stuff almost did not get served)

As some of you know Diane was celebrating her Anniversary of 29 years living with me..... yes she deserved to have a late lunch at the Peninsula Hotel's Roof Top Restaurant in Beverly Hills.:)))
The service was impeccable, and the food was top notch. Well, we had a scallop dish for starters. Diane had fried COD and out of this world French fries.
I had a grilled Hamachi, yes grilled most of the time I have it raw, so this was a first for me as well. The waiter was clarifying to me in case I did not read the menu properly.

Life of a Pet Friendly Realtor in Los Angeles..... well most of you who read my posts on a consistent basis, know we have two cats and a dog. So what do we do? Basically nothing:) I go grocery shopping, cook some fantastic meals.
Diane coordinates Vet appointments and cleans up after the cats and the dog.
Life is simple here; we listen to classical music to keep the monsters calm and in between there I sell properties in the greater Los Angeles area.

Just for fun: This post was inspirited by Debe Maxwell, CRS she wrote a post about receiving stemless glasses to drink wine by the lake. Needless to say, Diane I do not have stemless glasses.
Diane did not want to be left behind and with that said she wanted to have her wine in a stemless glass. So, with that said I had to improvise.

We are living in very interesting times to say the least. The greater Los Angeles real estate inventory has been shrinking year over year. Generally speaking, that translates to rising home prices. Now to complicate matters there are fewer buyers in the market due to interest rate increases. Hence there is a tug-a-war between the few sellers and the few buyers.
