The other day, I received a question from a potential buyer who was very concerned about the fact that there is too much information available to everyone on the Internet. Not wanting to be a wisenheimer, I tried explaining that there are many pros and cons about this subject and we do not have that much time to debate this subject.
I asked and was wondering what brought this up? The buyer wanted to keep his sales price private once the transaction closed. He did not want everyone to see his purchase price.

Broker's Open House: is there a value to them? There are many schools of thought about this.
I find it is totally critical and necessary to have Broker's Open Houses:
1. you are making the home available for agents to view them and be able to inteligently talk to their clients about the home.
2. It allows agressive buyers to get a jump start on their more passive competition to see the home.
3. it allows networking with your fellow agents who show up at your Open House.

Diane and I were driving back home on PCH. We went shopping in Camarillo. Every year we try to do something different for her birthdays. This time it was the outlet stores in Camarillo. On our way back we drove by Pepperdine University.
There were all these flags on the lawn that you never see anyone… there were thousands of flags mostly US and a few foreign nations’ flags. Clearly it was a tribute to the victims of 9/11/2001. Had we counted I am confident it would have been the exact amount … (4 comments)

Iron Clad Guarantees are important, if you are a Realtor, an Attorney or any business you must provide what I call the "Iron Clad Guarantee" to stand behind the service or the product.... Today is September 11, 2014: Thirteen years after 9/11/2001 a day never to be forgotten!
I can still clearly remember when I was woken up from a deep sleep and asked to turn on the Television… Since that day many events have taken place some good some bad. We as a nation swore never to forget this day.
Sadly I find that many politicians, leaders of our country have forgotten. They have shorter memories then I do. Thirteen years is a long time, another young generation was not even born when this travesty happened to us.
