I am a big fan of classic cars. Unlike Jay Leno, the host of the Tonight Show, I cannot afford to buy classic cars, nor can I afford to store them. All I can afford is to take pictures of them and share them with you on the internetJ!

As most of you know Diane & I support Rescue Organizations and we have a soft spot for not just our pets, but for all animals. So with that said Diane was trying to make sure that our pets have all the medicine & food at home, since she is going to Boston for few days.

The Seventh Annual Santa Monica Airport Art Walk was held from noon to 5pm. This was a Free event to all those who came. Not only was entrance free, even the parking was at no cost. This was created to showcase the local artist and allowed the public to visit the Studios where they actually create the artwork.

Quick light swordfish dinner,and Green Beans & Mushrooms.
Looking for a quick, easy and light dinner, well my suggestion is try a Swordfish with fresh Green Beans. When you come home from a long day and you only want to make a fast, but great meal, try this meal.
This is such a luxurious feast and still an easy meal to prepare,( you will be glad you tried it). The meal is light because we are not using potatoes nor rice. Then on top, nothing is fried, everything is steamed and baked.

If you are a student of ancient history, then you would know that The Ides of March is considered as March 15th. Most people know this, because of William Shakespeare’s Play Julius Caesar. Today was Ash Wednesday and the Pope performed his last public Mass.
How strange, we always like to say that history does not repeat itself. Well if you are a student of history you will know that six hundred years ago there was another Pope who resigned. It does not matter if you are a Catholic or an Agnostic or of a different religious belief, this is a monumental and historic event.

I only have to make one meal out of these ingredients and not fiveJ lucky me!
Clean and thinly slice the cucumbers (Japanese, or Persian cucumbers) do not need to cut the skin since they are so fresh. Sprinkle the cucumbers with seal salt and leave for 20 min or so until soft and the rinse and drain.

First Annual Valentine’s Day YWCA Charity Fashion Show/Fundraiser
The purpose of this great event was to help At Risk Young Girls. The way they were generating funds was by an entrance fee as well as hors devours, cocktails and handmade chocolates.

One of my favorite Chardonnay’s is produced by Chalone Vineyards in Monterey County, CA.
I f you are looking for a crisp, steely chardonnay, try their 2010 Estate Grown Chardonnay by Chalone. Talk to the Wine maker Robert Cook and he will agree with me, that this wine is fantastic. He attributes the wine being so exceptional is due the cool temperatures in 2010 and it allowed them to let the grapes ripen on the wine.

The Museum of Flying has a very interesting and colorful history. It has been affected just like us by the Trials and Tribulations of the Economy. Good news is just as the economy is improving so is the Museum.
