fireworks and pets: Severe Drought: Save California....

As I write this post, three houses away for the past hour and a half visitors from other part of the city/state/ are here to celebrate the 4th of July. Clearly they have not seen the signs on the Freeways about a drought or water conservation.
Diane and I were forced to water our trees, our back yard and our front yard, knowing that the illegal Fireworks would be happening and we need to protect our home. Sadly our local politicians, our local police talk a good game, but look the other way when it comes to these illegal activities. I remember … (37 comments)

Pets and Fireworks do not mix well. Most pet savvy people will share and advise you ‘face- to- face’, when they meet you and the conversation comes up about pets and Fireworks. Generally you are able to read all over the internet on the various social media platforms the simple message: keep your pets indoors and have soft music on, to shelter them from the scary sounds of explosions as well as the visible Fireworks in the sky.
