Last week I was at 'Book Soup' the bookstore on Sunset Blvd! Yes on the Historic Sunset Strip. Ironically, now it seems like a hundred year ago, all due to the fact, that we have been having all this rain. Many of us are starting to forget what it is like 340 days out of the year living in the Greater Los Angeles area. I know most of you know the answer: it is having lots of sunny days of course!

I just loved the Hollywood Sign on the Billboard! If you look past it inbetween the the two hills intersecting in the distance you can see the actual sign, although a bit faint the Hollywood Hills Sign is visible in the Hollywood Hills.
Now if you looked at the Billboard it says "Im.com"
Tell me you can resist and not Google it:)) That to me is good marketing.

Breaking News, the Hollywood sign has disappeared! The Iconic Historic Landmark has been taken over. Reuters, LA Times, and NYDailyNews.com every one has been covering it. In the shadow of the Winter Olympics quietly the Hollywood Sign has been hijacked. Look at the pictures before and after!

As we all know there is limited amount of Vacant Land left. Particularly in the Greater Los Angeles area there is less and less of it available. I have been selling these investment lots for over 13+ years it takes a long time to sell, it is not as liquid as Stock, nevertheless I never had anyone loose money on it. Every one has increased their net worth over the years. Including in today's economic times, I found it to be a solid investment.

I have just listed another View Lot above the Sunset Strip.
Before I go into the details of my new listing. I want to share with you, that a week ago I closed on one Lot three parcells away from this one. The Land Sales have been slowed due to the downturn of the RE Market and the Economy. I am starting to see life in both. Particularly when Land starts to sell, it is a sign of confidence returning to the market. Just as an FYI two months ago four parcells sold about five hundred yards from these lots.
