Wordless Wednesdays: There is so much history to share in Los Angeles... when I moved to Los Angeles, CA from Boston, MA I was so excited to be able to show and sell properties on and off Laurel Canyon BLVD.
There was a House on the corner of Laurel Canyon and Willow Glen Road. At one point Harry Houdini lived there and he built a tunnel underneath Laurel Canyon which led to a house across the BLVD where many Legends of Rock & Roll used to party and make history.

The Canyon Country Store as in Laurel Canyon in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles, CA.
One of the historic landmarks of Los Angeles, CA is the “Canyon Country Store” the owner has been there as long as the store has been there and we are talking the 1960’s. Laurel Canyon was the campground for the “Hippy Movement” Now with that said, times have changed, many of the famous Rock & Folk Musician either passed away or moved away. Never the less the store remained and continues to be a magnet for the entertainment industry as well as future “stars”.

The Southern California Conundrum: Drought vs. Rain, a Los Angeles Vacant Land Realtor’s perspective.
We have been enjoying the long overdue rain for the past 30 days in Los Angeles. Our sprinklers have been turned off and we were watching how our grass has turned from brown scorched grass masquerading as a lawn to green. As I was waiting to meet my out of Country Client to look at properties I figured might as well enjoy the activity. As I sat in my car at the Chevron Station I managed to watch a few Hollywood locals pass through the Gas Station. Most people seemed to be in a good mood it was sunny and about 65 degrees.
