One of my clients of 20 plus years ago wrote this post on LinkedIn I had to share. It is such a powerful message.
Just to give you an idea I sold his home in Los Angeles and he moved to Arizona when it was not hip cool and trendy. He had a vision with the proceeds he bought a lot of rental properties.
Would you like to guess what kind of car he drives nowdays?? On a side note I am happy to call him a friend after all these years...

As most of you noticed, the economy is booming, the stock market is at an all time high in the United States. The unemployment numbers are lower than in the 1960's so what opportunities are there for people who do not have a Job??
Well I was driving from one of my Escrows and I saw this sign in South West Los Angeles.... just in case you did not know it, in California it is Legal to posses and smoke Pot... well with that said...
Clearly this legalized business has even created new ancillary job opportunities... I had not even considered or even anticipated … (20 comments)

Well Jill is the "pistol" of our animal farm. She complains about everything. Just an example "where is my breakfast", "where is my dinner" anyway you get the idea. Even when she is playing if you catch her in the act she will complain: What are you looking at?
As you can see the eyes have it. Honest I cought her playing, well see for yourself

If you mention Randy's Donuts just about everyone around the US will know you are talking about an Iconic Donut Shop. Thanks to Hollywood the Donut has made it into many a movie. Keeping in mind if their Donuts would not have been so good they would not have lasted this long. They were founded in 1953 clearly 60 plus years ago....

Security: how good is your security system? Do you have your home well protected? What do you do or what should you do when you are planning to go away for a few days?

MOLD: is that a problem if you are buying or selling a home? The short answer is yes it could be a problem.
Mold can be a problem if you are buying or selling a home, lucky for me in my 23+ years of helping in the buying or selling of homes, I only had two situations where we had to have a Mold Test done because of potential issues. Of course I learned a few things very quickly.
Mold can be caused by Exterior problems of your home:

I have seen many questions as to what to do? There is no easy answer outside of : Well it Depends... The maybe or maybe not is not the correct answer either.

Often I get asked what is my Outside the Box Marketing? Better stated: What is the secret of your success?
Interestingly enough, I do not have an Outside the Box Marketing Secret to get new listings. Well with the exception of TWO. Needless to say my ‘secret’ is not something I feel I have to hide. It is the ‘same old concept’:
Primarily I treat my potential clients and existing clients the way I would like to be treated and expect to be treated.

Well when we bought our house we noticed there was this pesky vine that has gotten out of control and was attacking one of our Citrus Tree. We have been city dwellers all our lives and lived most of our lives on the East Coast Boston MA that is. Now with that said we had no idea what the Citrus Tree was…. The best Malbec under $15 actually I would say it is probably the best Malbec und $30 but you can buy it for under $15!!!!
Most of you know I am a Wine Snob inspite of that I will drink inexpensive wines if they are good. This one is out of this world. Now with that said I know a Malbec coneseure Liz and Bill Spear so instead of me being the one telling you this one is good let them be the judge!!!

Did you know that Palm Trees get Haircuts too?
Having relocated from the East Coast, being a transplanted Los Angeles aka Angelino, I had many misconceptions. One of them being that Palm Trees are generic to California and specifically Los Angeles. After all, I have seen many movies of Sunset Blvd as well as movies of Beverly Hills. So I did not need to be confused with facts.
Well the reality is that Palm Trees are imported to California and Los Angeles. They are not generic to Los Angeles vegetation.
