For the past couple of weeks, I have been meaning to write about this sale, because our good friend Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland likes Frank Lloyd Wright homes. Over the years, I have written a few blog posts about this great home. Many years ago the house was falling on disrepair and the Foundation tried to sell it for around $15 million dollars. What can you do in five to six hours if you have smart phone and email issues?
You can make a rational and calculated decision!
Clearly we have been inundated with the fact ‘that time is money’. Well let me share what I did on this past Friday. I have been without internet on my Blackberry since Wednesday into Thursday….evidently GoDaddy my email host was having server issues. This in turn escalated to my BlackBerry Bold not getting any emails.

Great news: The Fires by the Getty Center are 100% contained!
A fast moving fire started on Friday around 3:30pm east of the Getty Center but very near. Rush hour traffic on the 405 FWY on both directions was virtually at a standstill. The fires spread to 30 acres, then 40 and as of Saturday the fires engulfed about 90 acres of hillside. It was one of the hottest days of the year around 102 degrees Fahrenheit.
It is truly amazing the hard work the Los Angeles Fire Fighters conducted with Air Support dropping water by the millions of gallons. … (8 comments)

There are many luxurious waterfront homes in Marina Del Rey, CA. Not all of them have ocean views some are located on the Grand Canal. Most have three levels of luxury, but the real luxury comes from their gardens. I was strolling the other day, trying to relax and took this picture. Century City / Westwood, CA Condominium Market Report for February 2011. As you know I have been a big proponent of Looking at Housing Trends, I find that is the key to getting the correct picture. It is important to look at the Monthly numbers, but we should not be caught up with the Headlines. There have been delays due to Lenders, Appraisers and other unforeseen reasons.

Market Observations for the week of November 8th, 2010, as you know I do not often comment on this subject, since there is a great deal of daily volatility in the Stock Market and consequently in the mortgage rates as well.
Last Wednesday, the Fed announced that, to help boost the economy, it will purchase an additional $600 billion in Treasury securities by the end of the second quarter of 2011. The expectation is to purchase about $75 billion per month to reach its goal.

We like this home! Great, let's write an Offer! I love this part of the conversation with a buyer. Now comes the more interesting part, when I have to explain what it will take to accomplish this. I am sure most readers are familiar with the famous zip code, not necessary everyone connected the dots, but on the second day of the ninth month of this year will be 90210. The date matches the zip code. I think it was very clever of the Mayor of Beverly Hills to do something this iconic as this event.

Paradise Cove, Malibu, CA before all the people arrive for the summer rush. It is easy to get food wine or beer and most importantly a parking space. I would bet you today if you manged to get in to park, there would be no room for anything and the wait would be pretty extensive to get food and drinks.
Inspite of it, Paradise Cove is a great destination place no matter what time of year. The food is good too.
This is the time when even seagulls have room to walk.

The plan was that he would enlarge the square feet and then sell it for a profit if need be. Long story short he never did the addition. Periodically called me, emailed me to see if he could refinance. Sadly the numbers did not make sense.
