Observations on Memorial Day  Evening by a Beverly Hills Realtor Endre Barath, Jr.…
Every evening, I reflect as to what went on in the day and how and what I could have done better. Generally, looking back is important to me, it allows me to figure out, how I can improve my actions and plan out the next day as well as the rest of the  week.
Today was an interesting day to say the least. Not only was it Memorial Day, but it was a day the Red Sox were on National TV and I was excited to watch them, not only … (40 comments)

red sox: World Series Game One: Red Sox win 8-4 against the Los Angeles Dodgers - 10/24/18 12:10 AM
If you did not watch this game, it was a Nail Biter for almost the middle of the seventh inning. Needless to say the lead changed quite a lot and I was quite nervous. Gratefully the Red Sox made some great chess moves and the game opened up to and 8-4 lead that they managed to hold on to.
One of our relatives sent me a Double Rainbow Picture an hour before the game. Clearly that was a good omen. On the other hand the Los Angeles person who has lived for 22+ years in the mild climate could not help but notice … (18 comments)

red sox: Playoff Baseball: My favorite season, it has interfered... - 10/07/18 10:44 PM
Playoff Baseball: My favorite season, it has interfered with our vacations and other activities over the years… what events have interfered with your vacation or what events have interfered with some memorable dinners?
As most of you know I am an avid Baseball Fan, more specifically an avid Red Sox Fan , not like some of my friends, who are “fair weather fans”. (By their own admissions)
I follow my team from ‘Game One’ until their last game…. There were years when my team was done early, and  they were not part of the Post Season activities.
There were years when Diane and I … (15 comments)

red sox: Breaking News The Red Sox are the Eastern Division Champs - 10/01/16 03:51 PM
In case you have not heard let me share with you The Red Sox are the Eastern Division Champs and will be going against the Cleveland Indians. How bittersweet is that, their old Manager is now the Manager of the Cleveland Indians, none other than Terry Franconia, who broke the curse of the Bambino and helped get the Red Sox their first coveted MLB Championship Trophy.
Some of the players and staff he knows intimately, the most famous one of course is David Ortiz, the retiring star of the Red Sox team. There are a few others, such as his old pitching … (10 comments)

red sox: The All-star Game 2014 Congratulations to the American League!! - 07/15/14 04:16 PM
The All- Star Game 2014, Congratulations to the American League! As most of you who read my blog post know I am a die-hard Red Sox fan ( American League) Today was forgetting the Arch Rival New York Yankees. It was a celebration of the Midsummer Classic recognizing the best of the best by the fans and team members.

Managing the American League was of course John Farrel Manager of the Red Sox, but today it was all about Derek Jeter and his 14th All Star Game passing the Torch to Mike Trout.  Fourty year old Jeter is one of the classiest sports figures in … (12 comments)

red sox: Controversial Finish @ Red Sox & Cardinals Game @ the World Series today - 10/26/13 03:44 PM
Controversial Finish at the Red Sox & Cardinals Game at the World Series today!

Often times in life people see things differently, the umpires, the fans and the players. Was that interference intentional? Was it accidental, the bottom line is, it does not matter? What matters is that the players need to go out and play like today did not happen.  Needless to say easier said than done!

This reminds me of Real Estate, one day we have a property or two or three in Escrow and then something happens and we do not have them in Escrow anymore. … (5 comments)

red sox: Red Sox: TWO Yankees: ZERO @ Yankee Stadium of all places! - 04/03/13 03:23 PM
Red Sox: TWO    Yankees:  ZERO @ Yankee Stadium of all places!
Ok In all fairness I understand that Baseball Season is long and things can change in a heartbeat. I also understand that this is what the the Doctor ordered for Red Sox Nation. After the dismal performance under the poor leadership of Bobby Valentine (who is now Athletic Director of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT) the Red Sox have a 2 and 0 victory over the Evil Empire!

Yes I hear the excuses, A ‘Rod is injured, Teschera is injured, Jeter is injured….yes these are acceptable excuses if … (12 comments)

red sox: The Last Red Sox Home Game of the season! - 10/02/12 04:58 PM

The last Red Sox home game of the season.

As most of my readers know I am a diehard Red Sox fan. I have returned to the Ring ceremony in 2004 to Boston, MA. I still proudly wear my Division Champs Baseball Cap. Ironically this year, the Red Sox are at a 50+ year low. As of this blog post they have lost 91 games. Never the less I have gone to the last home game!

Fighting the weather, (according to local weather men anticipated rain all afternoon and evening) we went to the game. Much … (14 comments)
