This post was to reassure my friends who commented on my previous post about the Holiday Lights at the Hilton by LAX as in Los Angeles International Airport. This photo was taken today around 12:30pm as I was heading to Pasadena to my favorite Bookstore Vroman's. So with that said I hope every one is reassured that LA Traffic is still as you imagined....did not want you to base your judgment on the other photo and be concerned... everyone from the Globe wants to relocate here and here is a small evidence of the ones that are already here:))).

This post is for our friend Debbie Reynolds , she has been visiting the Golden State for work related reasons... yes it is hard to take being in California in the Winter, specifically by the Pacific Ocean for a week.
Now keep in mind I took these pictures driving back from Palmdale, CA a 50+ mile ride of which gratefully the traffic was on the other side for about 49 miles and I was only cought up in the last four miles as I was heading home.
Now if you live in Los Angeles and ask someone how far some place is? They answer quickly … (20 comments)

Traffic in Los Angeles: on the road heading home from Pasadena. Look what greeted us. Keep in mind Pasadena is less than 20 miles from our home. If traffic was moving the way it should have it would be a 25-30 minute drive.
Today on the way home, we were going top speed four miles per hour. At that rate it would have taken us about three hours to get home. So I decided to take the first opportunity and get off the Wilshire Blvd Exit and maneuvered my way home. Keep in mind from Restoration Hardware on Colorado Blvd to get … (5 comments)
