Wordless Wednesdays: The rain stopped, and the birds were frolicking well this morning we had a reprieve from all the rain we have been getting for the last three or four days. The sun came out and the birds were frolicking in our backyard bird bath.
Check it out. On a side note, as I write this post it is raining again. I keep telling Diane it is good for the grass and good for our citrus trees:)))))

Wordless Wednesdays: Beaver Moon yesterday was a full moon called Beaver Moon. it is all about the beavers getting ready to lock up and load up for the end of the year.

Wordless Wednesdays: quiet dinner on the 4th of July... like our friend George Souto Diane was having health issues and was not up for company so we had a quiet dinner just the two of us...
Needless to say I know she loves traditional Potatoe salad. The last time I made it was not my best, hence I took a bit of tweaking and got it right.
Then I know she like onions and peppers.... hence, I had to caramelize the onions...yes, I know it took some time:)

Many times, we are looking for something easy to make for dinner. I asked Diane as she was driving home from her office in Century City: How hungry are you?
The answer was medium, so I figured might as well make Twice Baked Potatoes, with vegies and a sausage. It was a winner:)
Everything was baked so an easy cleanup dinner, keep that in mind:)))

Wordless Wednesdays: Yes, we have other flowers in our back yard... most of you who read my post will realize it will be Wednesday morning... technically we still have about another hour and a half here in Los Angeles before it turns into Wednesday.
Debe Maxwell, CRS inspired us to write about our flowers, now with that said yes, I am aware this will not be submitted to the Active Rain Challenge but thought you might enjoy them.

Those of you who follow my posts and read it regularly remember I was looking for a photo of my parent's home with the American Flag.... I could not find it, but then I started searching for sketches from my mother. Amazingly I found the home with the flag.

Then to boot look what else I found, it bought back a great many wonderful memories enjoy the Bald Eagle, even though it is the 6th of July still feels important to me to share with you.

Wordless Wednesdays: Well not quite.... the project started... as most of us during the Pandemic Shutdown had to test how strong our relationships are. Locked up for 15 months and both parties working from home can test how strong a relationship is. We survived this unexpected stress, so we said how can we test our relationship a bit more? How about a Bathroom Remodel??
