Fitz's American Grill & Bottling Works -- Saint Louis, MO Fitz's Root Beer first appeared in St. Louis at a local drive-in restaurant in 1947 and has since become a local tradition. Today, you can visit their restaurant and soda bottling line in the Delmar Loop area of University City -- a suburb of Saint Louis, Missouri. Many visitors come to sample the gigantic root beer floats.

We recently had the opportunity to visit the Gateway Arch, in Saint Louis, Missouri.

At 630 feet, the Gateway Arch is the largest arch in the world and also the tallest man-made monument in the United States. Construction of the arch began in 1963 and was completed in 1965. The monument opened to the public on June 10, 1967.

We recently visited Grant's Farm, in St. Louis, Missouri. The 281-acre ancestral home of the Busch family is celebrating its 60th year in business -- having entertained visitors since 1954.

The farm takes its name from Ulysses S. Grant -- 18th President of the United States. In the 1850s, Grant farmed a portion of the land and built a cabin, which is still in existence. The Busch family bought the property in the early 1900s.
