Fannatiku Fest is a non-profit, Anime Convention held annually in St. George, Utah. The convention is organized by Anime Fannatiku, and is sponsored by the Washington County Library System. This year’s convention will be held March 27th and 28th, at the Dixie Convention Center.
Attendees from all over the Western United States will be present to enjoy all that Southern Utah has to offer! Fannatiku Fest came on the scene in 2007 and drew 200 attendees. My kids have been hearing a lot of good things about Antigravity Trampoline Arena in St George Utah.  We decided to check it out for ourselves last night and the kids had a blast!  My 23 year old daughter enjoyed it as much as my 11 year old son.  There was something  for everyone, whether it's perfecting back flips or just bouncing down the rows of tramps.

It was recently announced that the city of St George Utah has planned a St. George Wagon Company Expedition to St. George, Utah the week of October 7-15th.  The event commemorates 150 years since the arrival of the original Dixie Cotton Mission pioneers to the St. George area. Fourth of July activities for 2011 in Hurricane Utah include the return of the traditional "dynamite blast" early on the morning of July 4th, 2011.  In years past, residents of Hurricane Utah began their July 4th celebration with one or more dynamite blasts.  This tradition was discontinued many years ago, but is being reinstated this year as part of the City's efforts to return to the past.
