houston realtor: Houston Real Estate sitting pretty in April - 05/21/09 06:45 AM

On Tuesday, HAR released the latest figures for the Houston Real Estate market activity during the month of April and as it's often been the case in the last year or so, the numbers were pretty mixed.
 
The Good
After three consecutive months of drops in the Median Sales Price, prices have stabilized. That's great news! In addition, there are fewer active listings on the market for sale now than there were a year ago. In other words we're looking at some of the healthiest inventory levels in the country. During a brainstorming session about three years ago, an idea was born within our company that is completely vital to the overall marketing strategy we employ when selling Houston homes. We were trying to find a solution to the following question:
What tool could we provide to home sellers to allow them to track the progress of our marketing campaign for their home?

Drumroll, please. The new HAR.com website was released today by the Houston Association of Realtors as a Valentine's Day gift for everyone to enjoy. The way I see it, this gift will be like a romantic trip to Paris for some and like a pack of tube socks for others

houston realtor: The rebirth of Westhaven Estates - 06/23/07 04:23 AM
I have come to the realization that the best way to really get to know a neighborhood is to walk in it early every morning and observe it while it changes from sunrise to sunrise. Some days you see a real estate sign on a property that just came up for sale while some others you see public notice signs as a foreshadowing of a new development to come. I am pleased to say that I have come to know my neighborhood quite well during my morning walks.
