opinion: Short Sales Disclosures in MLS
- 03/17/08 02:48 AM
I've had several inquiries regarding short sales so I thought I would share what our Mid Florida MLS has commented on with short sales and disclosures. At this time NAR policy requires some provisions of our new rule below to be permissive rather than mandatory; however, we hope that the permissive provisions of this rule will be exercised by all Participants of MFRMLS as a "best practice" and in a spirit of cooperation with, and full disclosure of actual (1 comments)

The city of Ocoee is a shining example of the notion that growth and history can be successfully blended. The Ocoee Christian Church and the Withers-Maguire House and Museum are locations where Ocoee's history is faithfully preserved for future generations. The city's past culture is observed in the gorgeous parks, brick roads and historic buildings. This past intertwined with the growth and expansion of businesses including the Florida Auto Auction, Health Central Hospital, West Oaks Mall and Sysco Foods make Ocoee the "Center of Good Living."Ocoee has come a long way since 1881 when Civil War Captain Bluford M. opinion: "Luxury Living – Small Town Charm”

For luxury living at its best, look no farther than the Town of Windermere. Pristine sand bottom lakes surround this small West Orange community. The largest lake, Lake Butler, is located on the west, Lake Down on the east and Lake Bessie on the southeast side of town. The boating enthusiast will revel in the system of canals that connect eight lakes known as the Butler Chain of Lakes. This chain of lakes make waterfront living in Windermere a sight to see. Today more than 2,300 people inhabit the Town of Windermere. The community, however, has not based its success (0 comments)

In the 20's, the streets of Winter Garden began to take on certain charm and Winter Garden was the third largest city in Orange County. The population grew dramatically due to the land boom and a new hotel called The Edgewater, constructed in 1927. During the 50's and 60's, the streets of downtown provided entertainment amenities such as a movie theater, a soda fountain, skating, and (0 comments)
opinion: How to say NO ... to Family!
- 10/02/07 01:06 PM
OK .. I know everyone has been burned a time or two or three BUT from family! Soooooo How do you tell a family member no or even referring them out without feeling the burn too much? There's some family that expect you to work for FREE! Then there's the family that wants a discount that you might as well have worked for free! So what do you tell them ... especially if it was the other way around you'd be paying for their services but THEY seem to forget that or not see it that way! What then? I understand (5 comments)
opinion: Help!! ... with the ever asked question … To own or not to own your own website!
- 10/02/07 09:08 AM
There are so many options out there - with or without all the extras and up sales. What do you do? Where do you go? Do you really need your own website now days if your company has all the accessibility for the World Wide Web, IDX, Agent webpage, etc. Clients have so many options out there. Even if you're a tech-savvy agent and pay for advertising on specialty websites like Realtor.com. Is it worth just advertising listings that way versus a website? How effective are the websites on lead generations and client capture? What about all the promise to have the most (2 comments)
